Shezre is a UKCP registered Family & Systemic Psychotherapist who currently works in a Child and Adolescent Eating Disorders Service in the NHS. She runs a private practice alongside her NHS work offering couple, individual and family therapy.
Shezre did her systemic psychotherapy training at the Institute of Family Therapy, and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), King’s College London.
Prior to this, Shezre qualified as a Relationship Counsellor with Relate London North West & Hertfordshire where she worked with couples, individuals and families with a range of presenting problems. She also worked as a Bereavement Counsellor for children and adolescents at CARIS Islington Bereavement Service.
In addition to her systemic training, Shezre has completed psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy trainings at Tavistock Relationships, and with the British Psychoanalytic Association and the British Psychotherapy Foundation.
Shezre is an advocate of lifestyle medicine and recently attended the Integrative and Personalised Medicine Conference in London. She also promotes mindfulness and meditation and has undergone training at the University of Oxford’s Mindfulness Centre.
She holds an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
